The Intramural Department at Sterling College strives to provide a broad, competitive variety of physical and social activities designed to meet the interests of the students, faculty, and staff of SC.

Participants have an opportunity to choose from various team sports and individual activities. The program offers equal opportunity for participation to both sexes, regardless of their ability or skills. Sportsmanship is important for every Intramural Sports contest.

The Intramural department expects desirable attitudes, good sportsmanship, and a high standard of cooperation. Officials, teammates, and opponents all deserve each others' respect and courteous behavior. Players must recognize that these are not varsity sports. There are no professional coaches or officials. Intramural games will be what participants make of them. You will get out as much as you put in.
