Sterling is widely respected for having one of the premier athletic traditions in the midwest. The mens and womens teams bring their passion and their faith to the field of competition. For our athletes, athletics is more than a sport - it's a laboratory for life.

Warrior Athletic Association

The Sterling College Athletic Department is dedicated to producing quality student-athletes, committed to success both in the classroom and on the field of competition.

The goal of the Warrior Athletic Association is to give you the opportunity to financially support Sterling College athletics. Sterling currently offers 12 intercollegiate sports. The Warriors and Lady Warriors compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC). Recent KCAC champions have performed well at national competitions.

We believe a high-quality athletic program reflects positively on Sterling College and helps fulfill its unique mission. The WAA includes individuals who recognize the value of intercollegiate competition. We understand that student-athletes "win" in bigger and better ways through a college athletic experience that teaches teamwork, dedication, achievement in the face of adversity, and the importance of a vibrant faith in all the areas of life, on the field and on the court. these qualities shape our athletic alumni into strong, productive contributors in the communities they call home.
