Lori McGuffin, front, and Lana Rothe, back, were instrumental in
nominating the Craft family for the Extreme Makeover show. Lori is a
teacher at D’Hanis High School and Lana is a member of the girl’s
basketball team, which Todd coaches.

Todd coaches three sports and teaches physical education and speech at D’Hanis High School in D’Hanis, Texas.

The living room is light and airy, an effect created by a twenty-foot ceiling and high windows.

The Craft’s new dining room table has room around it for everyone.

A big upgrade for the Craft’s was the new kitchen, which allows everyone to help cook together.

Directly off the living room, the outdoor patio extends the family’s living area.

Samantha likes to be cold and has always wanted to visit Alaska so the Extreme Makeover designers created an igloo room for her.

Sarah loves monkeys and her new room is full of them! It even comes with a banana-shaped dresser.

Bella’s room also contains a separate toilet and bathing area, making it easy for Liz to care for her.

Created with a little boy in mind, Todd Joseph’s room is a sports haven
with basketballs, footballs, baseballs and baseball bats.

Todd and Liz Craft’s room is decorated around a frog theme.

Todd and Liz’s third child, William, died shortly after birth. A
shadowbox was created in his memory out of their old front door.

A therapy room created the space necessary for Bella’s physical and occupational therapy.
