Athletic Facilities
On Campus
Sterling College uses a state of the art Athletic Training Clinic designed for the Clinical education of Athletic Training Students as well as provide services to over 350 student/athletes on twelve different varsity and junior varsity athletic teams. The Athletic Training Clinic at Sterling College services student athletes with separate areas for treatment such as: taping and bandaging, hydrotherapy, therapeutic modalities treatments, and rehabilitation.
In its continued commitment to academics Sterling College has used its resources to transform the classrooms of Gleason Gymnasium into modern Athletic Training Laboratory for classroom teaching and clinical skills practice. The Athletic Training Education Laboratory houses educational materials, computers and learning tools as well as equipment for rehabilitation and clinical review.
Off Campus
Sterling College uses the facilities and staff at Pinnacle Sports Medicine Clinic as one of its off site affiliated sites. The clinic, located in Hutchinson, uses new therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment for clinical use as well as for educational participation. Pinnacle Sports Medicine Clinics uses therapeutic modalities for the treatment of injuries but also utilizes special equipment for cardiovascular rehabilitation and long term post surgical care. The clinic utilizes a state of the art built in aquatic therapy pool for the use of low impact partial weight bearing exercises.
