Christopher Brown

Chris Brown comes to us from Barry University in Miami, FL where he served as the Head Athletic Trainer during the past year. While at Barry he primarily worked with the Volleyball, Women's Basketball, and Baseball Teams as well as overseeing all aspects of the Athletic Training Room.

Chris received his Master of Science degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from George Washington University in Washington DC. He completed his thesis work in the field of eating disorder risk and prevalence in college athletics. Chris completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training at Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina. While at Wingate he also worked with the Carolina Cobras of the Arena Football league.

He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and is an American Red Cross Instructor.

Research interests include:

"The effect of Energy Drinks on athletic hydration status."

Personal Information:
I am very excited to be working here at Sterling College. I love my field and teaching our students about how amazing it can be to be in a service oriented major like ours. I hope to have many more years here at Sterling and cannot wait to see what challenges and blessings come up next.
