Rishawn Austin

Rishawn Austin is entering his first season as head coach of the Sterling College Tennis team. He is currently serving as Pro-Rata faculty in the Religion and Philosophy Dept and Assistant Resident Director in Kilbourn hall. Rishawn graduated in May of 1999 with a BA in Mass Communications from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK while concurrently serving a six year enlistment in the US Army Reserve. He went on to work in Campus Ministry for the next five years at NSU and the University of Missouri. During this time he was able serve on several mission trips; including, Japan, China, Thailand and Panama. Rishawn continued his education at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and is currently pursing his Masters’ degree. Coach Austin loves video games, thinks too much and eats too little.
